Why would you use this tool for ?
“Be a Tool Rebel” with Wera Tools! What makes using Wera Tools an act of rebellion? Most likely their radically different design aesthetic which often features vivid colors and organic contours incorporated into their tools. But Wera is more than just a pretty face, they make game-changing innovations to tools. A few of their innovations include the Kraftform handle which is ergonomic, following the natural positions of the hand, the Zyklop ratchet which features a swivel head eliminating one of the most frustrating aspects of using a ratchet and many more. Wera tools are well-made, handsomely packaged and designed to take the tool world by storm with tools that look and feel like the way of the future.
Overall, I really like it. Grips well, smooth ratcheting, bit storage, etc.
However, and this isn't the worst thing in the world, there is a lot of slop/play in the ratcheting as well in the shaft wobbling very slightly.
Again, I'm generally happy with it, but if those things bother you, be aware of them.
I got this screwdriver to be able to cover a lot of different tasks all with the same screwdriver. It definitely lives up to what I needed it to be and is quite nice to use. I especially like the onboard bit storage. I thought six might be too few but I haven't really needed others yet.
I will say that the mechanism has a little play, and kind of seems sloppy in the non-ratchet position, but in use I've not noticed any problems. I've been using the Wera anywhere my impact driver is too much, and it has done an awesome job with everything.
This driver is extremely useful because of the fine ratchet mechanism and being magnetic. The magnet is VERY USEFUL holding screws on the bit freeing up your other hand. Also the driver has a 1/4" hex drive allowing me to use a variety of bits outside of the ones the tool came with.
I always wanted this screwdriver but I didn't buy it because it was too expensive. Haus of Tools sent me a lower price offer I bought one. Wera screwdrivers are the best I have found. They will get a better bite on the screw than other screwdrivers. I highly recommend all the Wera products. They have the best engineering I have found.
