Square-tipped screwdrivers, also known as Scrulox or Robertson drive are one of the oldest types of screwdrive systems in use at more than 100 years old. Especially common in Canada, the Robertson square drive spread around the world as people discovered the advantages brought by this type of driver. Every toolbox should have at least one because you just never know when you might find them as they have worked their way into the general construction and electrical trades.
