3M Tape 57 is a polyester film, electrical tape. This tape is used to insulate applications that require excellent dielectric strength. It withstands a temperature range of 32 to 266 F (0 to 130 C).3Mâ„¢ Polyester Film Electrical Tape 57 has a polyester film backing that offers resistance against chemicals, solvents, moisture, cut through and abrasion. This tape is highly conformable with a thermosetting, rubber adhesive. It is designed for use as layer insulation, a coil cover and a capacitor wrap where higher electrical strength is required. RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
