This premium-grade tape is made of 65-mil thick, ethylene propylene rubber and does a great job of insulating, padding and sealing your bus bar and splice connections. Use this highly conformable tape knowing it can withstand temperatures up to 194 degrees F (90 degrees C).Scotch® Rubber Mastic Tape 2228 consisting of an ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) backing coated with an aggressive, temperature-stable mastic adhesive on a liner. Designed for electrical insulating and moisture sealing, intended for both indoor and weather exposed outdoor applications including resistance to UV exposure.
