It has a Rolocâ„¢ TR-style external threaded button for quick and easy attachment to power tools with the Roloc attachment system. Neoprene foam maintains its flexible and conformable qualities while resisting compression and heat under stress. It is also water-resistant so operators can rely on it when wet sanding. Medium density neoprene foam provides a resilient base when using QRS Flexible Diamond discs for grinding and polishing tough material like ceramics, carbide, and cast iron.

The Hookitâ„¢ hook-and-loop system makes disc attachment, removal, and re-attachment clean and easy, and facilitates use and re-use of your disc for the full extent of its abrasive life. Hookit backup pads have J-shaped hooks of the type most commonly used in everyday hook-and-loop applications. These J-shaped hooks grip the brushed nylon loop backings of any mating 3Mâ„¢ Hookit disc. And while attaching them is easy, they provide a remarkably secure attachment mechanism for even heavy duty sanding.
