Overview

The RIDGID 918-Only-6 (58682) Hydraulic Roll Groover with 2 in. to 6 in. Rolls features a powerful 15-ton hydraulic ram in a compact, easy to transport unit. Designed to provide maximum efficiency, the 918 forms rolled grooves in steel, stainless steel, aluminum, PVC pipe and copper tubing. The grooves are formed by the hydraulic feeding of a grooving roll into the pipe which is supported by a drive roll.

With one man set-up and operation, the 918 is the ideal groover for job site requirements. The 918 mounts quickly to the RIDGID 300 Power Drive, as well as 535, 535A, 1822, and 1224 Threading Machines (all sold separately). Different mounting kits (sold separately) are required for each power source.

The groover includes a groove and drive shaft set that is capable of grooving 2" to 6" Schedule 10 and 40 standard wall pipes. With additional roll sets (sold separately), the groover can also be adapted to groove up to 12" Schedule 10 and 8" Schedule 40, 2" to 6" copper tubing (Types K, L, M, DWV), 1" Schedule 10 and 40, and 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" Schedule 10 and 40.
