Overview

The RIDGID HC450 230V (57597) Hole Cutting Tool, 4 3/4 in. Cutting Capacity, 110 RPM, 230VAC Line Input, is designed to cut holes up to 4 3/4 in. diameter into steel pipe. The multiple hole sizes allow the use of welded saddles or fittings such as Mechanical T, Vic-O-Let, and others for branching unpressurized pipelines.

The HC450 has a 5/8 in. capacity drill chuck to accommodate all sizes of hole saws and hole saw arbors. An integral motor and gear reduction optimizes performance of large diameter hole saws. The two feed handles allow the operator to use the hole cutting tool from either the left or right side. A rotating leveling vial in the base allows repeated holes to line up. The compact design, which is only 13 in. high, allows the HC450 to be used in tight quarters or above pipe installed close to ceilings.

The HC450 is ideal for mechanical, industrial maintenance, and fire protection contractors since it cuts holes into a wide variety of pipe materials. No off-the-shelf drill-based hole cutter compares in performance or durability to the rugged purposed-built Model HC450.
