The four vials allow for measurements at level, plumb, 45°, and Variable Pitch. The Variable Pitch vial has markings in 1/8" graduations up to 1/2". The vials are positioned to allow for viewing from multiple angles. The top of the level features a groove to sit securely on pipes and other rounded surfaces. This feature coupled with the variable pitch vial makes this a popular choice for plumbing to ensures proper slope for drainage. Strong magnetic bottom expands the versatility, also great for use with metal studs. Markings are laser etched so they won't fade or wear away.
