The electroplated adhesion process helps with uniform distribution of the mineral on the disc. A uniform pattern, in turn, helps deliver a consistent cut throughout the abrasive's life.
An Acute Requirement
We chose diamond mineral for this disc, because of its sharp and angular characteristics. This tough mineral can cut aggressively but still produce uniform scratch patterns. Typically during lapping, operators will rotate lapping discs and plates at low speeds.
