The SIMPLEX cast steel housing (series 3011) is the most widely used housing in Halder's product selection. It comes with an integrated handle protection sleeve, protecting the handle in case of mis-strikes. Robust and damping vibrations, the housing is very durable and offers excellent break resistance - not least thanks to its wear-resistant powder coating. This housing is available for SIMPLEX soft-face mallets with sizes ranging from D30mm to D140mm. A modified version is also used in combination with SIMPLEX splitting axes and the SIMPLEX splitting maul.
