The KNIPEX MultiCrimp crimping pliers feature a round magazine with three interchangeable crimping dies for MC4® and MC4® Evo 2 connectors, uninsulated cable connectors, and wire ferrules, providing one tool for common crimping applications. The crimping dies can be changed quickly and easily without an additional tool. Designed for PV cables, grounding conductors, and wiring to the meter cabinet, the pliers provide consistently high crimping quality through precision dies and a forced locking mechanism that can be unlocked. The round magazine is made of plastic and fiberglass reinforced material and provides sorted and protected storage for the interchangeable dies. Crimping die 97 39 08 crimps insulated and uninsulated wire ferrules from 0.25 to 6 mm², while crimping die 97 39 13 is designed for uninsulated cable connectors from 0.5 to 10 mm². Crimping die 97 39 42 crimps connectors for PV conductors for MC4® and MC4® Evo 2 connectors in 4 and 6 mm² (12 and 10 AWG). Additional dies 97 39 05, 97 39 06, and 97 39 09 are available. The 97 49 XX crimping dies from the crimping system pliers 97 43 200 are not compatible with the KNIPEX MultiCrimp 97 33 01 / 02 / 03. Made from chrome vanadium electric steel in special quality and oil hardened, the pliers provide the same reliable crimping results as fixed crimping dies and feature a comfortable, powerful design in professional quality.
