Overview
The RIDGID 37993 1/2 in. to 1 in. MegaPress End Prep Tool is used to prepare the end of schedule 5 to 40 black steel pipes. This pipe preparation tool is powered by a user-supplied 1/2 in. drill (1,200 to 4,000 rpm operating range). It cleans the outside of the pipe and deburrs the pipe end's outside diameter. The 37993 can be used with stationary or rotating pipes, in the 1/2 in. to 1 in. size range. Please note that the pipe prep tool is not approved for use with galvanized or epoxy coated pipe.
